You are now Arella, and you are as so many other times busy practicing with the two swords of yours behind the hive just by the edge of the forest. You are spinning around between the trees, doing one move after another and several attacks out in the air towards invisible attackers you imagine in your mind, almost making it look like some kind of dance.

Suddenly you loose focus and find yourself almost falling over, panting. A feeling you know all too well fills your body, it is a bit like someone just put giant, heavy weights on your shoulders, at the same time as they hugged you around the ribs making it hard to breath.

It is all in your mind. Nothing physical. You know that. But that does not make it any better. The feeling you got still means that something will happen. Something bad. It might happen right now, this very second, to someone you know… Or it might happen any minute, hour, day to yourself, or someone else… You never really know. The feeling always take you by surprise and you have gotten used to it, and used to blocking it away. Somewhat.

Something you do even at this time.

You straighten up where you are standing, holding your head high as if nothing happened, and you look around. Just in case the feeling tried to warn you about someone suddenly joining you, someone of bad intentions. But it don’t seem to be the case.

With a sigh you finally stop and decide to end the training for today and return into your hive. You were starting to turn pretty exhausted anyway, and it would feel nice with a shower, maybe log into Trollian for a while and just relax.

The warning, quite unpleasant feeling is still hanging over you when you’re walking towards your hive. Even if you blocked it away you know it is there, and it will not disappear until whatever it is trying to warn you about actually happens.

“S†upid, useless mweep power…”

You Are now a nearby creeper known as Myrten. You have been observing and following this female troll for quite some time, on reflection you should probably stop observing people all stalker-ly, it would make you seem less like a rapist or something if you did. Well, now is not one of the best times to break this old habit.

You ended up following this Troll in particular because she caught your interests while pondering over the Derleth’s elemental classifications. It wasn’t everyday you saw another of your kind, you keept to yourself and others keept as far as they could away from you it seemed. What to do with this stranger? Your ideas  vary from having a friendly chat to using her as Shauggloth bait.
You’ve been following this girl long enough, action is needed.

You present yourself into her field of vision, “Hiƴa.” you then wave and smile slightly too broadly at her like you were friends or something.

You grumble some more things, about the so called “useless power”, of yours to yourself where you walk, digging through your pocket after your keys when a sound made you stop and slowly turn around.

You stare for a short while as another troll walks out from what seem to have been his hiding-spot immediately getting suspicious. For exactly how long had he been watching you? And how did you fail to notice him until just now? It actually disturb you quite a lot. And you probably do look pretty annoyed as well as you look at him.

“Hi. And who mweep are you?” you ask after a moment of silence as you looks at him from top to toe as to decide whether he could be a treat to you or not. You couldn’t say he did look all that dangerous, but he did show up just after you got the warning feeling so you didn’t want to take any risks.

Not now. Not until you knew what it tried to warn you about.

Your attempts att seeming friendly has backfired! oh, I am sorrƴ. Mƴ intentions were not to scare ƴou. I am not used to companƴ around here you see,” You pause slightly for effect ” I am Mƴrten.” You then shove your hans in your coatpockets, trying to look as unintimidating as you can and attempt to start a conversation “Quite impressive preformance with the blades earlier, I must saƴ. I was just walking bƴ, wasn’t following ƴou or anƴthing, gods no! I would never.” You force a chuckle and wait for a reaction from your counterpart. You start to realize you are not the master conversationalist you thought. Frootloops.
